Founded in 1980 as Action Bag Company, the family business started with one simple and effective product: the recloseable zip bag. Since then, not only have product lines expanded to serve all classes of trade, but the company name has also evolved. In 2016, the company launched its rebrand to Action Health, reflecting its dedication to innovation and providing expert solutions in the changing healthcare market.

1980

Marie GebbieAction Bag Company is founded by Marie Gebbie, focusing on the reclosable zip bag and its uses across all industries.                                                                                                                                                                                           

1982

Marie’s daughter, Nancy Cwynar, joins the organization making Action Health a second-generation family business. 

1995

Nancy CwynarNancy Cwynar becomes CEO. The organization continues to expand its product line.                                                                                                                                                  

2016

Action Bags healthcare division is rebranded to Action Health.

2018

Haley Cwynar joins the organization making Action Health a third-generation family business.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

2022

Action Health acquires Bag Man Xray expanding the product line to include X-ray Cassette Covers. 

2024

Tetra Medical Supply

Action Health acquires Tetra Medical Supply Corp. adding elastic bandages, dressings, and orthopedic soft goods to the product line.
